Pour faire le show sur la scène de l'auditorium Stravinski, l'humoriste convie treize artistes : François-Xavier Demaison, Stéphane Rousseau, Jean-Luc Lemoine, Baptiste Lecaplain, Jérémy Ferrari, Nawell Madani, Frédéric Recrosio, Nicole Ferroni, Ben, Constance, Artus et Vincent Dedienne en duo avec François Rollin.

Partant du principe que des festivals d'humour reconnus dans le monde se tiennent dans des villes commençant par la lettre «M» comme Marrakech et Montréal, des producteurs ont voulu en offrir un à Marseille. Ainsi s'est tenue, du 27 juin au 1er juillet 2017, la première édition du « M'Rire Festival ». Animé par Patrick Bosso et Titoff, le gala d'ouverture a vu défiler sur scène une dizaine d'artistes parmi lesquels Elie Semoun, parrain de l'événement, Artus, Mado la Niçoise, Gil Alma, Amelle Chahbi, Les Bonimenteurs, Maxime Gasteuil, Rachid Badouri et JeanFi Janssens.
